We hope to continue to build on the tradition of organizing impactful events.
In February we will partner with our community partners for a black history month event focusing on Ghanaian/Afro Canadian History and awareness
Presentation on zoom to Ghanaian Seniors on Elder Abuse prevention
In addition to our Speaker Series events, we will have our Annual BBQ for our members and their family members as well as invited guests from the Ghanaian/racialized community.
We will also host our annual Soccer Tournament in partnership with our valued community partners.
We will also visit a shelter and serve meals to members of the residents.
We are also planning to partner with Law enforcement agencies to deliver a recruiting information session to community members.
There will be a back-to-school initiative focused on our young people where we will count on our membership to sponsor a backpack and mentor one of our local Ghanaian/racialized students.
